Stopped in for a coffee when visiting the gallery, wish I hadn’t eaten earlier because the menu looked stellar! 10/10 for atmosphere and views! Staff very attentive. Would highly recommend and can not wait to come back!!!

Beautiful food and scenery. Friendly staff. A must-visit place to bring visitors to the Tweed. Coffee was excellent, too. Recommend booking ahead.

Ladies lunch for 3 today at Apex cafe. We booked ahead which is necessary as it was very popular. Wonderful food - innovative menu and lovely fresh flavours. I had a nourish bowl with chicken and choc muffin for dessert- both tasty and satisfying.

We all commented on way home what quality staff you had. Food was excellent and I could have chosen many dishes. I was concerned about lack of aircon but staff went to extra trouble to seat us in a cool spot. Would come back just for cafe. We did love the gallery though.

The food is lovely and was delivered very quickly. As were our drinks. However it took some time to sit down because the front of house person was having long chats to the customers. While that is kind it meant a number of people were waiting to be seated which was frustrating. Once the food and drinks were delivered we could not get staff attention. We eventually did order coffee but the coffees sat up at the bar for at least 5 minutes and as we had to take our guest back home we just had to leave without the coffees. Plus they would have been cold It is a beautiful venue and great food and the staff were all very polite so the service frustrations were disappointing.
