I saw this new Thai-Chinese restaurant featured in the Sydney Morning Herald Good Food section with a rave review on the beef noodle soup so I had to try this dish alongside an order of pork belly rice (another crowd-pleaser). Both dishes were so comforting and the meat was very tender. If I could pick a favourite, I would actually go for the pork belly rice. There was a generous amount of pork and it was braised so well. I don't usually go for rice dishes but the rice was beautifully flavoured with the pork juices and I loved the pairing with the pickled greens and black olives. I will definitely come back again to try their other dishes. The service was also quite friendly.

The ambiance is decent, and the decor is quite charming. I really liked the illustrations on the walls, but unfortunately, the food was mediocre. I ordered the Ama Classic Dry Noodles, and the further I ate, the saltier it got. The pork was tender enough, and the crispy pork lard was okay, but the dish overall lacked aroma, leaving only the salty taste of soy sauce. It's worth noting that the saltiness of soy sauce becomes increasingly bitter toward the end. The vegetables were slightly undercooked but still acceptable. However, the noodles themselves were far from fragrant. I won't be returning next time.

Ama surry hills, so basicly the owner of ickle coffee open a restaurant to have classic grandma noodle soup with fine equipment to brew coffee with la marzocco linea PB, anfim sp2, mahlkonig ek43. Brew method available is espresso. Aside from the coffee, the food was great we love both the dry noodle and the signature one. The soup was so good and the beef was awesomely done.

I had the chance to try three dishes here - Beef Noodle - Pork Bun - Mor Gang Flan Everything was delicious! The beef noodle was flavorful, and the pork bun was soft and tasty. But the highlight for me was definitely the Mor Gang Flan – it tasted just like the ones back in Thailand, a must-try for sure! The service was great, and the food came out fast. Highly recommend this place!

I'm not one to give 5 stars unless it's well deserving. This is by far the most flavourful packed noodle place I've eaten. And that's on par with cabramattas Asian joints. Absolutely comfort food approved. Bonus they have filter brew coffee and other milk based coffees. Notable was their dry noodle egg pork braise. Beautifully rich yet balanced with the basil leaves.
