Chinese restaurants in the country can be dicey. Alex's is the restaurant in the Dorrigo RSL; both are situated in a dated building that, although shows its years, has been well maintained and is impeccably clean. There was a good selection to choose from the lunch specials. Our orders were cooked fresh. Although my Mongolian beef was not authentic and the sauce too sweet, the beef was tender and fresh. If you've a craving for something other than the typical country burger and sandwich, Alex's is a solid choice.

Was happy to find this place open on a Sunday night, and was surprised with how delicious and cooked fresh it was, really fresh good ingredients too. Nice people and military items in the RSL.

Excellent food . Tasty and fresh. I bit of a surprise located in Dorrigo RSL club. Was recommended and didn't disappoint.would highly recommend ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.also some interesting military items and photos on display in the RSL club.

Expected nothing of this place on walking in, a really ordinary looking country RSL that looked as though it had seen much better days, and a really ordinary looking Chinese restaurant tucked in a corner. Food though was amazing, the Mongolian beef incredibly tender and delicious and no complaints on the serving side. We had two mains plus fried rice and there was so much we took half of it home and it served another full evening meal next night. This place really surprised us.
