Have been to Aireys pub before and was bitterly disappointed, we decided to give another try after not being back for quite some time and I can’t say anything has changed. Want to point out our drinks and staff were amazing, friendly and the only saving grace for our experience. Food was average at best. Garlic bread - rolled pizza dough garlic flavoured butter, for something that is advertised as garlic bread, there was no resemblance of garlic or bread. There was no garlic flavour whatsoever. Chicken parmigiana - For crying out loud chips beside the parmigiana, we were left with soggy chips from the condensation from the Parma being on top. Chips were ok, small portion, salad disappointed, seems that it wilted under heat lamps. Flavour of the Parma were ok Napoli searing hot, chicken breast dry. Overall atmosphere was fine, drinks were petty delicious, hubby enjoyed the tasting surfboard. I wouldn’t want to come back for a sit down meal more drinks with friends, just a pity that the food is not at the same level as the beers that are brewed at this establishment.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Initially, I had some reservations after reading the earlier reviews about Aireys Pub/Salt Brewing, but I’m pleased to say that the negative feedback is completely unfounded. We stayed locally overnight and decided to give it a try for lunch on our first day. To our delight, the pub serves pizza and chips outside of regular meal times, which is a rare and much-appreciated convenience—especially when other local spots are closed. Our experience was so positive that we returned for a late lunch/early dinner on our way home. On both occasions, the staff were nothing short of outstanding—helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. The venue itself is warm and inviting, with a variety of seating options both indoors and outdoors. The fact that they cater to health-conscious meat eating diners and also vegetarians is commendable, particularly outside of metro Australia where such options can be limited. Adding to its charm, Aireys Pub is dog-friendly outside, and there's a spacious area where kids can run around and kick a footy. It’s touches like these that make this pub stand out as potentially one of the best in Australia. With ample parking out front, a choice between ordering at the table or the bar, and food that arrives quickly and tastes fresh and wholesome, this establishment checks all the right boxes. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. I highly recommend stopping by for a meal and a pint—you won’t be disappointed.

Great place to have a SALT California IPA or a HAZY IPA. We went there after kitchen was closed hence could not eat, but the welcome was super warm and pleasant. With the music, we Felt country side - just what we were looking for.

Food, beer and atmosphere is decent, although 17 dollars for a schooners is absolute ROBBERY!!! I’m all for increased prices over the holiday periods, but this one beyond a joke! Ohhhhh I also spend 42 dollars on a pizza!!!!!!

Ordered a meal that claims to be sustainably caught gurnard in a salt batter, felt and looked more like a frozen fish that could be picked up from Coles or Woolies. The chips were overcooked and some inedible. The salad was the highlight, as a side dish. Quite disappointed that I paid $34 for a meal that wasn’t up to standard and could be easily prepared at home for less than $10.
