Never done a review before on a business but i couldnt resist this time ,my son purchased an acoubra hat for his girlfriend for Christmas unfortunately it was too big .On the day of purchase he was told if it didnt fit he could change it .So it was placed back in the box until his girlfriend went back this week to change it only to be told she couldnt change it as it was put back in the box wrong ,upside down was was the words the lady had used ,and said it was out of shape .My sons girlfriend returned home in tears with the news ,as she knew the hat had been sitting in the box unused since Christmas Day.I was so shocked when she told me what the middle aged woman had said to her and was also livid because i was the one responsible for sitting it back in the box .So i rang airds myself and spoke to lady and she told me the same story ,i couldn’t believe what she was saying and i told her that her reason was ludicrous and could i speak to the manager and he backed the lady up and rudely told me he had seen better looking second hand hats!!!Iv e been in business myself for 30 years and never have i come across such a lame and rude response from a business for an exchange,i told John the manager i would be taking the matter further and he did not care!!!!im trying to remove this one star review but i cant seem to take it off.P.s(you will notice when sitting in the box the open end of the hat is exposed but the writing on the box is the other way )so guys dont dare put a hat back in the box the way i did ,because god forbid you will not get an exchange at Airds of Lochinvar😣

Great experience at Airds today with my partner. Greeted upon entry by some beautiful ladies, shortly after we were approached by Bethany who guided/ help us with boots for me and jeans for my man. What a gem! Bethany really knew her stuff, I loved that. Finished up with more great service at the counter to wrap things up. And got some great care and upkeep tips on our purchases before we left. Great job Team, we’ll definitely be back.

I would not recommend Airds of Lochinvar to my worst enemy. My daughter received an Akubra hat for Christmas. This was what she had been dreaming of for a long time. Her boyfriend purchased it for her and it cost him almost a weeks wages. Unfortunately it was too big and she placed it straight back in the box and put it carefully aside. We all witnessed this. My daughter has OCD and when I tell you she looks after her things, she looks after her things! My daughter then tried to return it. The staff at Airds were rude and obnoxious. They claimed the hat had a crease in it, but if it did that is because that is the way it was sold. Despite my daughter being distraught and in tears the care factor was zero. They played hard ball, refused to discuss the situation or provide any compromise. When you are paying hundreds of dollars for a product one would except a level of professionalism and after sales customer care, Airds provided neither. Buyer beware. Normally I try and support local businesses, even knowing they are over priced, but in this case I will never step back in the store again. They don’t care if you and your family have been customers for 25 years they give no care or support to the loyal customers who have supported their business. An absolute disgrace. Choose wisely because the nightmare begins if you need to return something and who wants to shop at a business like that. Very disappointing Airds, very disappointing, you need to do better.

Exceptional selection of apparel in a well laid-out retail space. Regretfully service is abysmal. spent 15 minutes on the floor without 1 team member asking if any assistance required, and then received poor service at the counter when asking if they can order an RM Williams item in for me (which they said they could, then changed their minds as they then said they coud not and made me feel like a goose for asking ! ) I have purchased 5 x pair of RM Williams trousers and 2 x pair of RM Williams boots there in a 3 year period, yet left feeling they were doing me a favour by being there ! I will order all directly from the RM Williams Website from now on. I guess supporting your local business is no longer valued....

Went looking for RM William boots - went to Kotara, service was terrible. Ended up at Airds & met an amazing young lady “KATE”. explained everything we needed to know & bought the boots 👢 I wanted.
