9 of us booked a table in advance and went for dinner. Ordered 2 'Family Platter 2'. We just changed the 'naan' of the platter to 'garlic naan'. The restaurant staff came after 10 minutes and said that one rice item mentioned in the menu will take a long time to prepare and he mentioned the name of another one and said that it will not take much time to prepare. So the rice that was prepared in less time was selected by us (forgot the name). Anyway, it took them about 40/45 minutes to serve the food. But I have to admit that the food was very tasty. One of the items we ordered was 'dogh' (a yoghurt drink with mint). This drink was ordered in 1 jug but nobody liked it, it was topped with dry herbs instead of fresh mint. Every time I sip, the dry herbs were very annoying. So in the end we had to order soft drinks again. All the items ordered except this drink were very tasty. The kebabs were soft, smelled nice and every kebab had a different taste. Garlic naan and the rice was also good (though the rice was a bit oily for me).

Must visit! Sayed, an all rounder offered great service with a smile and food recommendations! The food servings are very generous, good spices and flavoursome, Afghani authentic. We were too busy eating but here are some photos for the foodies out there 😋 We’ll be back!

Really good food. The kebab player, manto (dumplings), yogurt drinks , faluda everything was delicious. They have parking outside next street.

Afghan Royal won't disappoint! First time here with family friends and being a foodie, always searching for a special place to eat Afghan Royal was truly a place to return to enjoy great good, excellent service and a true Afghan experience. Every dish was full of flavour, aromatic. The mixed kebab meat was so tender and juicy. The rice soft, and delicious. Customer service was outstanding, with Sayed taking care of us all throughout and very kind and welcoming. Definitely a place to return!!
