I tried their vegan Chicken bahn mi and is one of the best in Sydney. Located in really lovely and cute suburban neighborhood in Sydney. Where you don’t really see tourist. I love that. And is a large Vietnamese diaspora community here. Really recommend for vegans to come here for vegan bahn mi.

I came here at lunch time, I had a tofu noodle bowl and an iced coffee. Both were delicious! Amazing friendly service… I could tell there were lots of regulars coming in. Definitely recommend!

Really enjoyed the crispy pork roll here, mega roll for $8.50 very flavourful and plenty of stuffing. This place has dine in section where one can sit and relish their food at ease and also enjoy their homemade sauces. I grabbed the combo deal for $13 which came with freshly pressed sugarcane juice to wash down the heavy banh mi. Highly recommend, staff were amazing too.

28/7/24 - 4.5 stars A quaint neighbourhood Vietnamese eatery with no frills. Stumbled across this whilst roaming Ashfield and thought it would be worth a try seeing all the great reviews. Ticks all the boxes for an authentic Viet cheap-eat but service was quite good. Crispy pork banh mi Bread: S+, 8.5/10. Crispy and a bit fluffy inside, so definitely good but not the best I've had. Maybe if they kept them warmed? Pork: S, 8/10. Good but again have had better Pate: ??, I did ask for less but couldn't really taste it at all which might have contributed to the dryness Garnish: S+, 8.5/10. Pickles and salad were fresh and tasty. Value: S, 8/10. $8.5 is a bit cheaper than other places Pho bo Broth: S+, 8.5/10. Fairly good, though just a little less depth and complexity than other places Beef: S, 8/10. No big issues though would have liked some less lean pieces Value: SS, 9/10. $14.5 is one of the cheapest I've encountered

Tried a crispy pork banh mi, warm crusty roll, good balance of meat/ crackling and fresh cold, crunchy veggies. The chilli had some kick. Some might say not enough meat, but for $8.50, I'm not complaining. Definitely would recommend.
