If I could give 6 I would have. Even with the table on the footpath. Zero atmosphere but the food and the service eclipse this easily. The best Tom Yum soup with prawns I've ever eaten. Juicy succulent king prawns, and to die for fresh tomatoes and veggies in a superb broth. The coconut rice exceptional. Yes. The Prawn spring rolls have a whole prawn wrapped with some fresh carrot and veggies. The chicken skewers tasty with an exceptional peanut sauce. The pork pad prick with stems of peppercorns.....sensational. The chicken stir fry with peanut sauce was delicious. The service was exemplary and the prices cheap for the absolute quality of the food. Fast, authentic and the best Thai I've had in Australia.

Health hazard !!! When collecting our order a lady with raw chicken on her hands came out of prepping food and proceeded to touch all over the take away bags and containers to check they were for us.. could literally see pieces of raw chicken on her hands! Too shocked to address it in the shop.. left the store and had to take all the containers and sanitise the outside. It’s late at night my family were starving. Probably going to get salmonella poisoning. When we called they were so casual about it and didn’t seem shocked at all.. they couldn’t even confidently say that doesn’t happen regularly. Honestly this place should be audited by the food safety inspectors! Also shit satay sticks over priced and only got two instead of four.. replaced with spring roles we can’t even eat because we have allergies. Argh waste of my money and time. Yuck.

We always make a point to detour off the highway for a meal at 85 Thai. The best Thai food in Australia, and equal to anything we eat in Thailand.

I have to say that this is one of the best Thai restaurants I had tried. The staff are friendly. The dishes that I ordered: Pad Thai (beef, medium hot). Tomyum (sea food, medium hot). Papaya salad (medium hot) Mango sticky rice. These were extremely delicious. You should try.

Quality and taste of food, service can't be faulted! Desserts must be had, so do keep space. Portion sizes could be a tad bigger and black rice pudding to accompany the mango would have added a touch of class but these are minor issuea. Feels like you're eating at the owner's house - the service and staff are such
