This was not just a bad experience—it was a complete disaster. This place is an absolute joke The lack of service, communication, and care for the customers was beyond disappointing. The restaurant seemed like it was run by ghosts, and the staff couldn’t have cared less. The view was nice Booked a table for 2, expecting a decent meal, but what we got was nothing short of a nightmare. We were handed menus by the host and seated the table was dirty with spilled water and had to call someone to wipe it , but after sitting there for over 40 minutes, not a single staff member came to take our order. It was as if we had vanished into thin air. Finally, someone came to serve us water . When we tried to order, we were told the food menu is different today , and that the menu had changed completely that day. They handed us a totally different food menu We waited another 20 minutes after that with absolutely no one coming back to take our order. By this time, we'd been sitting there for over an hour, wasting our time. There were no staff members in sight except for the bartenders, who were too busy making cocktails it was honestly the most bizarre and frustrating dining experience I’ve ever had. Held a company xmas party here and it was amazing. Food was excellent, except for the asparagus canape. Drinks were great too everyone ordered a variety of cocktails.

I brought my wife here for our 5th anniversary and to be honest the staff at W 29/30 ensured we had an amazing experience. The rooftop bar and interior is beautiful. We were able to sit pool side and enjoy the views of darling harbour, thankfully it was not too cold. The food and drinks we ordered- Grilled Octopus, Prawns and Wagyu Beef and Teriyaki salmon hot plates were delicious. The cocktails were perfect as well. Highly recommend the grilled Octopus, it was our favourite. Finally the service was 5 star, every staff member was very attentive without being overbearing, always smiling, always helping us with our menu choices and wishing us a happy anniversary. Also the complimentary glass of champagne was a lovely touch. Thank you W Hotel for a memorable evening, I will definitely be back. Also a big shout out to Alex one of the staff members, thank you for tonight brother.

Walked in and a waiter greeted us immediately. We were taken to our tables. I got a smokey whisky cocktail which was very nice. The ambience is very nice, loved the pool design. There are also lounges for you to lay on whilst sipping on your cocktail or dip yourself in the pool (pool is shallow).

A well fitout bar with a good drinks list and DJs. The fitout is great, with plenty of visual interest from the lighting to the colours to the materials. Drinks were tasty. Unfortunately our service experience was a bit hit and miss. Our waiter was great, but the Maître D didn’t have our booking in the system, then made us move twice for later bookings that never turned up while we were there? Need to sort that out!
