Came in for dinner and had the lanzhou handmade boodle beef soup (number 1), the braised chicken fried noodles with potatoes and the fried chicken and prawn dumplings. The beef noodle soup was delicious and the broth was perfectly balanced and flavourful. The braised chicken fried noodles with potato was ok, however, wasn’t so flavourful. The texture of the potatoes were great, the braised chicken seemed a but dry (maybe coz chicken breast was used). The dumpling texture was great and wasn’t tough at all. Taste wise it wasn’t too bad (taste was subtle, however paird nicely with the chilli oil and vinegar). Customer service was great and food came out very fast. Restaurant had many seats and was pretty clean.

Have had 1919 around Sydney and waited in lines at Burwood etc. Chester Hill branch is way better than the other branches with no lines. The noodles are handmade as usual but the standout is the broth which has way more flavour in the actual broth and doesn't need to be compensated as much with chilli like in other branches. It has a richer beefier flavour and also less MSG in the broth. The lamb skewers are also a must get and freshly made with a good amount of flavour without being too spicy. Prices are great too.

Absolutely amazing as always. Consistently good quality, flavour and service. Tried the eggplant dish too this time in addition to my usual and it was sooo good.
