I recently visited 159 Home Kitchen, and I was thoroughly impressed! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for a cozy meal. The menu features a delightful variety of dishes, all made with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. I especially loved the special rice series, which was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The service was exceptional—friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Prices are reasonable for the quality of food and experience. Overall, 159 Home Kitchen is a fantastic spot for anyone looking to enjoy a delicious meal in a comfortable setting. I can’t wait to return!

This small Hunan restaurant is a hidden gem! The dishes are packed with authentic flavors, offering the perfect balance of spice and freshness. The best part? It’s incredibly affordable for the quality you get. If you’re looking for a true taste of Hunan cuisine without breaking the bank, this place is a must-visit!

Tbh I wasn’t expecting too much when I visited the place but it’s surprisingly good! We had a mud crab hotpot, eggplant and chicken dishes and they all taste amazing! Portion size is generous, enough for three people. Mud crab is fresh and live, one of the best eggplant dishes I’ve had in a while and the chicken is not too spicy but juicy and tender! Would highly recommend and it’s pretty affordable too

Located between UTS and the University of Sydney, this restaurant was a favorite spot during my student days, especially for the delicious Di Guo Chicken. However, I hadn’t tried many other dishes. This time, I tried their new Golden Soup Crispy Rice Crab Pot, and it was amazing! The warm soup was very fragrant, and the crab meat was so succulent, though a bit hard to chew, haha. The complimentary lettuce and enoki mushrooms were huge portions, and there was plenty of rice. We came with three people, and I had three or four bowls, yet there was still a lot left, enough for a big meal. We also ordered the Salted Egg Yolk Chicken Wings, which were a delightful surprise! The taste was unique and delicious. Definitely worth a try if you visit.
