The Half Acre Cafe is an eclectic mixture of Happiness, great service, great coffee and the owner, Tracey, who has turned it into my favourite cafe of all time. Iām 77. I used to contribute to The Age Good Food Guide working with Terry Durak and Jill Duplex. Luke, who is the chef here, has a talent for producing generous meals EXACTLY as ordered. The waiting staff are terrific. They listen! A trait that many other cafe waiters lack. Highly recommend and a great way to investigate the past by visiting their free entry museum

Only had a take away coffee whilst taking my dog for a morning walk. They were busy but I phoned in my coffee order and a lovely lady brought it out to me. There was a gentleman playing a guitar outside, will go back on my next Howlong visit and have brunch I think! Coffee was great šš¼

The first time I visited was an aberration due to a understandable mistake with table number missing due to two separate orders for three people. Due to the high rating I chose not to lower it! The recent visit matched the high rating In all facets of hospitality. Food, decor, coffee (Bonsoy) & service. The decor internally & externally is eclectic to say the least! Love ā¤ļø the whole deal - thank you very much team! ššāļøš„

This is the best thing in Howlong I think. This gorgeous little cafe is awesome. The iced chocolate was sensational. The customer service was friendly and authentic. The pricing was very reasonable. Inside or outdoor seating. I had a home made muffin which was yum and my friends had breakfast and they thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend if you are in or around Howlong.
