Great room and friendly staff. Really enjoyed our time at Argyle Terrace and will definitely come again in future. I have no complaints and everything was to a high standard. They didn't ask for a review but I feel like they deserve one so I'm writing to say thanks!

The man in reception was very nice and booking in was simple 4 stars. We stayed overnight in the 2 bedroom family suite which could be a nice suite with some cleaning and maintenance but for $425 a night.... The kitchen sink needs bleaching the power point needs replacing, The kettle was dirty and needs replacing so I went to kmart and bought my own kettle. The airconditioner was dirty, The ceiling fans in the bedrooms were so dusty we didn't dare use them as we would have been covered in dust and the toilet needs proper cleaning including bleach and brushing under the rim we could seen dark brown under the rim 🤢. The stairs up to the suite and verandah need sweeping and weeding. And lastly the family suite should be a smoke free zone. If all these things were fixed then I'd recommend the motel. 🙃

For the age of the building and star rating, this place is an affordable comfortable option in Batemans Bay. Rooms are confortable with tea/coffee/toaster. Quite at night and comfortable beds. Motorcycle friendly!

Check-in was seamless and quick, with payment processed on the spot. It was convenient that there was no requirement to use the same card as the one used for the booking, which added flexibility. The location is fantastic—just steps from the inn, you're welcomed by a beautiful view of the sea. You can enjoy a scenic walk along the waterfront to reach the nearby supermarket, shops, and eateries in about 15 minutes, or opt for a quick 3-minute drive. The standard twin room comfortably sleeps three, featuring one queen bed and a single bed. The room is quite spacious, particularly for two people, with ample room to move around. Bath towels were placed on the bed but were visibly worn, with frayed edges and loose threads hanging off. After using them, we noticed small pieces of the towel strings scattered on the bathroom floor. When drying my hair, some strings stuck to my palm, further emphasizing that these towels have definitely seen better days. The bathroom itself was spacious, though the shower area felt a bit tight. Basic toiletries, including shampoo, conditioner, soap, and tissues, were provided, and a wall-mounted hairdryer was available for convenience. While the motor inn is an older building, it's not in poor shape. Some wear and tear, like cracks in the carpentry laminates, were visible, but it wasn’t a big issue. The room was clean and well-maintained overall. One downside was the noisy air conditioning, which might be disruptive for light sleepers. We chose to switch it off before going to bed, and when we turned it back on in the morning, we joked that it felt like being on an airplane! Additionally, the Wi-Fi was slow, which could be a drawback if you need to stay connected during your stay. The bed was comfortable, and as you shifted during the night, the bedding made a soft, crisp rustling sound that added to the overall sense of coziness.

The room was dirty , bathroom had mould , old razors left in the bathroom draw. Cobwebs throughout the apartment. You could not turn a fan on as the build up of dust and mould on the fan would have circulated throughout the rooms . Absolutely terrible . Only thing good about is the location.
