I went to this establishment this morning (7.30ish) 24th Jan 25. Must have been opening as one attendant was blowing leaves off the driveway. I walked in the front door just as the other attendant sneezed, mouth uncovered ALL OVER the COOKED FOOD in the bain-marie!!!!! I turned round and walked out....

Nice guys but filthy establishment and the food was beyond terrible. I walked out to the nearest bin ( there are none in cafe) and threw my burger away.

Staff were friendly and helpful at the roadhouse including being prepared to cook us some dinner at the last moment before closing time. The motel was expensive for the age and condition. Dust, mould, broken tiles, faulty electrical items. A place might be old and remote but it can/should still be clean.

Great fuel, lots of drinks and snacks to keep you going for a while. So glad its now Ampol, last time I went through town it was an independent servo. While in town, drive around look at the old buildings, steam engine and the old Bridge. The fuel here was so good that I filled up, then went up to White Cliffs and came back to top up again so I would make it to Cobar.

Disgraceful no signage out the front that say no toilets 😡 totally just a lie u get kids out to go when u can stop else where with cheap fuel prices absolutely shit show
