Amazing service. This place is on the highway but for some reason I've been driving past here for 35+ years and never noticed it. It's been recently renovated inside and has a bar now. The place has such a lovely ambience to it. I ordered a pork dish and the pork fell apart beautifully. The pannacotta for dessert was also a good option, not too filling.

Ambermere Inn treats you like family. They have an incredible menu which paired with excellent service, makes for a fantastic evening. Recommendations on dishes include: the saffron risotto with the most meaty and tasty chorizo (locally sourced), the cod dip and their whole rainbow fish. Have their honeycomb semifreddo to finish off and you've got yourself a 3 course wonderland.

The Ambermere is great location with great views. The food is superb from the main coarse to desert. Open fire places add to the atmosphere and the location. Nice old style bar and great outdoor area. If your in the mountains do drop in you couldn’t find a more friendly place for a meal or a drink.

The venue is gorgeous - one of the oldest buildings in the area, the food is interesting, varied and delicious. The garden gets a lot of sun, so bring a hat for lunch. The shop has a wide variety of local food, reasonably priced and the music on the weekends creates a delightful atmosphere
