Really good coffee, and had a tasty sausage roll too! Staff are friendly, and dining is comfortable and you can enjoy your beverage surrounded by art (which you can also purchase if a piece tickles your fancy). You can pick up coffee beans to make your own brews at home, and machines too if you need one

It's hard to know where to buy coffee when you're visiting somewhere for the first time. On a cold and foggy morning during a short stay in Armidale, I was trying to find a quick takeaway coffee. I walked past one cafe with a lot of people hanging around outside (usually an indicator of good coffee etc) but trying to avoid crowds I decided to try Altitude, which was not so busy at the time. I'm glad I did - firstly, the welcoming greeting. Secondly, the generous sized medium/regular. Thirdly, that they had lactose free milk. Fourthly, the price was very good. Lastly, the coffee was HOT - which seems like a weird thing to say but getting a hot coffee from anywhere these days seems to be hit and miss. So, thank you and I'll be back next time I'm in the area!
