Very disappointing valentines day service - multiple issues with booking due to an ex staff member not placing my reservation properly weeks prior. After some discussion feel like we come to a nice resolution of an earlier booking for an outside table and some bubbles on arrival for the trouble. Upon arrival, no mention of anything above and seating plan seems to have been canceled told to sit anywhere - set menu shows a $110pp menu consisting of 2 starters an entree and main with desert - all food items came to the table as a single serving size to be shared, while the food was of good quality and well cooked this price point was far too high for what was offered - with 1 beer and 2 margs added on our total came to slightly under $300 a price that just felt to high considering all the issues and failed promises.

We appreciated that this spot was dog-friendly so we could enjoy a nice evening without the guilt of leaving our boy at home. Our server was very efficient and was also very kind to our pet which we really appreciated. A great local spot if you’re after good food with a vibe that’s a bit more low key!

Thoroughly enjoyed the food here! The sweetest strawberries with the burrata, perfectly creamy mushroom ravioli, gnocchi was toasty and flavourful and the steak was perfect! My mocktail was also perfect, not too sweet :) Our service was fantastic as well, we appreciate that dining on a weeknight means less staff, so food and drink takes just a teeny bit longer for it to arrive. But honestly I love that because it means my loved ones and I had more time to catch up in between entrees and mains. There’s no need for family dining to be in a rush ❤️

The food was incredible. We went for dinner and chose the feast with the additional courses and it did not disappoint. Stand outs were the burrata salad, scallops and the tiramisu. Overall it was delicious, fresh and the combination of flavours went so well together. Our waitress was wonderful too, very attentive and knowledgeable. Thank you for such a wonderful evening.

The quality of the food at Allonda is very high matched by the service which is also very friendly. We had the shared feast which overall we found extremely tasty, well presented and ticked all our boxes. The highlight for us been the Risotto and the Sirloin, which were cooked perfectly. Maybe the Potato Rosti we could have skipped and the Kingfish had a little bit too much sauce over powering it, but overall, really high standard. Highly recommend a visit if in the area and it was reasonably priced as well.
