Abdul’s is an iconic Surrey Hills restaurant (family run, as far as I know). I’ve been visiting this restaurant since I was a child and hope to continue visiting, even when I no longer live in Sydney. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with a very good variety of dips, meats and salads included in a mixed plate. The decor within the restaurant has a classic charm, though for patrons without a sense of nostalgia could be in need of an update.

Come here for the food, not the service or ambience. My first time here, I loved the ladies fingers. The mixed plate was generous with the dips and tabbouleh, the falafel was amazing and the meats cooked perfectly. I was tempted to grab more food to take away.

We love this local gem! Our Saturday take away has always been delicious and made fresh. This family ran business is so special that the food have been part of family’s tradition. Food binds us together most specifically if it’s affordable and made of finest ingredients. Our fave is the classic meal with additional falafels and chilies Thanks Abdul and family for our so good dinners . Our family loves it . We highly recommend it. Jason and Jasmin
