Pleasantly surprised at the dumplings and flavour of the foods. Spent about $25 for the 3 choice box and two dumplings. We got the egg and chive dumpling which was still hot and crispy on the outside. The round beef dumpling wasn’t as much of a hit but the pork in the 3 choice takeaway box and broccoli were a tasty fill. The lady was very cute and generously filled the boxes and did her best to translate each dumpling in English with language barrier.

I've only ever gotten the 'chinese pancakes' here (aka flat fried buns) and they've always been good. My only pointer is that they can be quite oily, but personally I've never had a bad experience here. Staff have been good and eating in and take away have all been fine.

Got some take out meals. Fish steak is dry and fragrant. Lion’s head (big meat ball) is decadent. Very juicy. Bean sprout stir fry got nice wokhei. They put a lot of rice in so make sure you ask for some sauce on it to spice it up.

I mostly get takeaways buns from here. Affordable, juicy and worth the money. I get intense craving for Chinese meat buns and this is where I go. I was so happy to finally find a good bun store that I could afford. The bun’s outer layer is most similar to how my grandma used to make. It’s also got the right thickness with a good amount of filling inside. I’ll gradually try other items on the menu but if you want decent buns at a good price, this is the place to go. Service/Staff interaction has been okay too. No rushing when taking my order, granted you don’t hog the front when deciding and blocking others who’re ready to order. Shop’s a quaint place while some seatings. It feels a bit cramped but I opt for takeaway most of the time so this wasn’t an issue for me. Plus, Burwood Chinatown is close by so plenty of seatings there too. My only gripe is for a menu people can hold and read since I struggle to take in the menu on the board behind the counter when I visited initially. Not a big issue but maybe elderly/sight impaired customers would appreciate it.

Anyone who gives this ace less than 4 stars is a baby and a coward. Delicious dumplings for like $2 each and big juicy buns for $3 each. It's fast. No surcharge on credit card. (Thank you!) And there's such a a good selection and the ladies working here are so sweet and lovely. My favourite place for a snack in Burwood.
